Through this program, the students will:

- Learn to create learning opportunities for secondary school students
- Learn to create a classroom environment that enable the students to play active role in the learning process
- Learn to use information and communication technologies to meaningfully engage the students in the learning process
- Develop their understand regarding various assessment and evaluation techniques
- Learn and apply various theories related to cognition and learning
- Practice teach in real classroom situations and apply various theories of learning
- Develop their understanding of curriculum development and implementation processes
- Develop their understanding of historical, philosophical, social, and psychological foundations of education
- Develop leadership and managerial skills
- Understand current issues faced by the system of education at national and regional level
- Learn about characteristics of a profession
- Learn skills that are required to conduct small scale research activities
Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements
In order to get admission in this program the applicant must have obtained a degree after 16 years of education preferably in a school subject from an HEC recognized institution with minimum 2nd division in annual system or CGPA 2 out of 4 in semester system.
Medium of Instruction and Examination
The medium of instruction and examination shall be ENGLISH except Islamic Studies which is Urdu. For languages (e.g.Arabic), the medium of instruction and examination shall be that language.
