Education in the 21st century demands a careful balance between continuity and change. Rapid technological advancements have transformed traditional educational paradigms, giving rise to innovative approaches in learning. Tanzeem-al-Lissan was among the first organizations to recognize this shift and the challenges it presents. Our goal is to make learning both effective and enjoyable, providing students with modern facilities and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The organization was established in July 1996 in Gulshan Colony, Faisalabad, our early enrolment consisted of just six students aged 5 to 12 years. As demand grew, the organization expanded to a larger facility at 487/A, Ghulam Muhammad Abad. Currently, the district government has provided a spacious building of the former M.C. Middle School, Dhobi Ghaat, which now houses Tanzeem-al-Lissan’s services.

At present, more than two hundred students are enrolled at the Danish Centre, most of whom come from lower socio-economic backgrounds. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, ensuring every child receives high-quality opportunities for learning and development.

Vision

To provide a caring, inclusive, and child-friendly environment for students with hearing impairment and their families, supported by specially trained professionals, where each child’s developmental, educational, and communication needs are addressed in a safe, secure, and stimulating setting that fosters confidence, independence, and lifelong learning.

Mission

To enhance the development, education, and communication abilities of children who are deaf and hard of hearing by delivering quality special education, therapeutic support, modern assistive technologies, and family-centered services, enabling them to achieve their maximum potential and participate actively in society.

Facilities and Services

1. Basic Education
We provide specialized education from Play Group to Matric, tailored to meet the individual learning needs of each student.

2. Fully Equipped Multi-Sensory Rooms
Our multi-sensory rooms are fully equipped with specialized educational toys, equipment, and play areas, forming a structured framework that promotes approved learning outcomes and enhances sensory development.

3. Services in Different Settings
We offer services in both group and individual settings, ensuring personalized attention and support for every student.

4. Hearing Assessment
Comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and ABR audiometry, are provided to monitor and support each student’s hearing needs.

5. Speech & Language Therapy
Every student receives individualized speech and language therapy, focusing on improving communication skills and overall language development.

6. Audiovisual (A.V.) Aids
We provide a variety of hearing aids, group hearing devices, speech trainers, auditory trainers, and other assistive devices to facilitate learning and communication.

7. Free Hearing Aids
The Danish Centre offers hearing aids free of cost to ensure all hearing-impaired students have access to the technology they need.

8. Fine Arts
Special emphasis is placed on fine arts education, helping students develop creativity, expression, and aesthetic skills.

9. Sports & Co-Curricular Activities
Students participate in weekly sports and co-curricular activities, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and social skills.

10. Mental Health Support
Behavioural, psychological, and personality development needs are addressed by a clinical psychologist, ensuring comprehensive mental health support for all students.
