hISTORY & BACKGROUND

Tanzeem-al-Lissan was founded in 1995 as a non-government voluntary organization dedicated to the education and rehabilitation of individuals with special needs. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad, its visionary leader, began his journey in 1990 by establishing Pearl Center, a school for hearing-impaired children in Lahore. Seeing the lack of facilities in Faisalabad, he started working at a home level in 1992 and, with the support of professionals from various fields, formally launched Tanzeem-al-Lissan in 1995.
