Mr. Ghulam Rasool resident of Muhallah Muhammed pura Faisalabad says that my daughter Saima was born as normal child. She suffered from polio at her childhood due to which she was not able to move and walk. She was restricted to bed rest only and was not able to do any work even we had to take him to the toilet; in other words she was the idle part of the society.
It was May 2000; when a team of “Dastak” from the Tanzeem-al-Lissan came to our home and helped us in training Saima. This team invited Saima to their physiotherapy centre at Dhobi Ghaat for physical exercise. She was also given a wheel chair for her convenience. As a result there was a lot of improvement in her physical condition.
With the help of brace, she can walk as well. Besides this the institution has also given her education and she has passed class 5th. Saima was also given vocational training in which she has learnt sewing, stitching and embroidery work. After that she started sewing ladies suits at her home by which she is earning a reasonable amount. Girl who was rejected by the society and who was a burden on the shoulders of others has now become an independent member of the society. She can perform her tasks by herself now and she is no more dependent upon others; all this became true due to Tanzeel-al-lissan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][tmc_event_grid number=”4″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
